Swab Test

It is commonly used to test for the presence of candidiasis infection, bacterial vaginosis and trichomonas vaginalis. Samples collected with the swab are sent to the lab. Breast Examination

If you notice any breast changes, make sure to visit MEDIXCLINIC within the next week. Women aged between 50 and 74 years who have no personal or family history of breast cancer are recommended to have a screening mammogram (breast X-ray) every two years. If you have a personal or family history of breast cancer, MEDIXCLINIC can help you to decide how often you need to be screened.

Ear Syringing

Ear syringing, or ear wax removal, uses warm water to painlessly clear ear wax build-up. This is a simple painless procedure and can be done any time of the day, any day of the week, during a routine consultation.
If you think you have build up of wax in your ear please instill some olive oil drops or wax softener for 3 days prior to ear syringing as it will make the procedure easier and more effective.
